Robinne Lee
Late one night in the spring of 2014, I was surfing YouTube when I came across the face of a boy I’d never seen, in a band I’d never paid attention to. It was the kind of exquisitely assembled face that makes you stop whatever you’re doing and take notice. And then perhaps lose an hour or two Googling. I’ve been known to be obsessive. My research revealed that this boy had a penchant for dating older women. And so the seed was planted.
When my husband returned from his business trip a few days later, I joked that I was leaving him and our two kids and running off to find the pop star, and oh, by the way, he was half my age. My husband had a good laugh and then in a moment of clarity, he said, “You know, that would make a great book.”
Thus, began "The Idea of You."

God, it's SO hard reading your book without picturing Harry Styles. Everything about Hayes describes Harry perfectly. Which would've been totally fine with me, why not imagine Harry as Hayes? Except that screws everything up because Harry never ever showed any interest in women, only in men, so I really can't see him with Soléne. :( Why did you have to make Hayes sooo Harry? :'( He could've been a little different. :x

Not a question, I just wanted to tell you that I loved The Idea of You. I just read it and I don't know how to move on from it. It wrecked me. In a good way. All the feels. Thank you for that and I look forward to more from you. I believe that this book would make a great movie, has that been a thought at all?
