(view spoiler)[I have been bursting into tears (repeatedly) today. Not because Solene did what I would have expected, but because she did what I would have done in her place. My heart is breaking for these non-existent people... On a scale of 1-10 how sad would you be if I fan-fictioned (yes I am making that a verb) my own sequel? I have listened to ~700 audio books over 4 yrs(mostly romance), yours is the first I have purchased. XO (hide spoiler)]

Kat,
Thank you for reading. Glad to hear you were affected by Hayes and Solène's story. I would never ask a fan to not write her own interpretation of the story, or its aftermath. I feel like once it's out there in the public, there is always the possibility that will happen. And you are always welcome to share it with the private FB group, here:

I just devoured your book. The story was fantastic, the characters well played out and the steaming romance scenes so smoking hot. I am looking for another steamy book for a beach holiday. Any books you could recommend ? What books did you read to inspire you to write your book. P.S. I sure hope you have another book coming our way soon!

Not a question, I just wanted to tell you that I loved The Idea of You. I just read it and I don't know how to move on from it. It wrecked me. In a good way. All the feels. Thank you for that and I look forward to more from you. I believe that this book would make a great movie, has that been a thought at all?
