I started out thinking I was going to be writing a book about village of fairies in a magical forest. Well, the forest remains in Chapter One, but there are no fairies in it, just a scared boy running for his life. I just ran along with him, and his path led me to "The Orphan's Secret." Readers will note that plenty of magic remains. But no fairies.
