I don't get it. Why is everyone gushing over this book? I have dragged myself to page 160 or something but haven't found it interesting in the least. Should i continue or give it up? Is this where it get interesting?

He raises fear among the cowardly slave leaders by sharing stolen food from the master's table with the slaves. He saves the life of a young girl about to be raped and murdered by the master, then burns the master's house, killing the master and freeing the slaves and starts a revolution. All in the first 160 pages. If you don't 'get it' or get hooked by now, you never will be.(less)
