I don't get it. Why is everyone gushing over this book? I have dragged myself to page 160 or something but haven't found it interesting in the least. Should i continue or give it up? Is this where it get interesting?

If you are looking for just action, this book has it, but this book was defiantly NOT written just to have tons of action. I think the people (myself included) who gush over this book are book worms and just appreciate the world building, complex plot, and even more complex characters. If you are just looking for action, hold on because the later books (4,5,6) have lots more action. Or you could try Brandon's reckoners series, which has much more action and also helps to get people who aren't used to Brandon Sanderson introduced to his style. Hope this helps!(less)
