How do you get inspired to write?

Robbie Cheadle I am usually inspired to write my poetry from events that I see or experience on my journey through life. I write quite a lot about poverty and the effects thereof as I see beggars and street children every day. I am also inspired by beauty and acts of kindness. Mike and my Sir Choc stories are usually inspired by fun activities we do together. The act of buying ice-cream in New Zealand inspired Sir Choc and the rainbow ice-cream fairies which will be published next year.
