Why do you think Aral wasn't more of a father figure to Ivan? How would it have worked if Ivan had become count of the Vorkosigan district? Name changed? District name change? There's already a Count Vorpatril... Martya named after anyone? Which "milady" paid for Roic's vacation time in WG - Cordelia or Ekaterin? What size were the black and white tiles?

An appalling workload, plus reluctance to step on Lady Alys's turf; pretty well, probably; don't know; don't know; don't know; don't know; a bit over a foot square.

Hi, I was just wondering if you've heard of or read Winter's Orbit by Everina Maxwell? I really enjoyed it, primarily because it felt a lot like Vorkosigan saga. Not in a derivative sense, but more in the sense of general feeling I got from it. I later learnt that Ms Maxwell is a fan of your work (and of Georgette Heyer's work, too), so I just felt like I had to put it on your radar. Cheers!

Near the end of “The Prisoner of Limnos”, Penric mentioned to Nikys that “I might still like to take you to visit Adria sometime.” I wonder whether that thought remained with him? If so, there are two ways that we might see Lodi again: with or without flashback. I’m not obsessed with Lodi, it's just that our first visit was brief, and it’s been on my mind recently. I once visited Venice briefly…

Hi! I've been rereading all your books this year since August because they are one of my comfort rereads and, since I just had another kid, they're a wonderful meditation on families and what it means to be a parent. And thank you for that! And leaving that aside, I was wondering - while rereading Paladin of Souls - whether Desdemona is still around somewhere and whether Foix dy Gura ever gets to meet her?
