What exactly was wrong with Addison's face and hands? Was it a condition that has a name? Apparently his Father and Grandfather had the same condition. I'm trying to imagine what could evoke such a violent reaction in other people.

Original Sin is from the Christian belief system that was thought to come about after the fall of Adam and Eve (see Genesis 2 if you don't know the story). We are all born with it, but Addison was not. His Father and Grandfather were also born without Original Sin, which allowed them to grow a community and support system for one another. Gwenyth was also born without Original Sin, but uses caked makeup to cover herself so that she can be out in the open without people trying to kill her. Why do civilians want to kill these perfect humans, you ask? Because, when you look at their faces, you see every, single, sin. you have ever committed, and you are full of hatred for this person for showing you every single thing you've ever done wrong as a whole.
