Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Lisa Mackay I wanted to write a book with characters that I actually liked and to make them as realistic as possible. I read a lot of romance and I love comedy and intrigue, but quite often I find the character's journey a little predictable, so I wanted to write a book that would keep the reader on their toes. Hopefully I have achieved that, but as I mentioned before, I am a new author and I've got a lot to learn.
