The reader was kinda left hanging. Why did we not get to read about Zoe holding her daughter for the first time? The miscarriages were such a huge part of her life. Or her joy and worries over Vanessa being pregnant? Where was the joy we wanted her to feel? I cried for Zoe more than once. I wanted to feel her joy as well. Darn!!!
