That's an interesting question. I don't think it did, no. I knew they would be shocked that their mother could write such a horrible story - but I wrote it anyway!

Jack Angel was such a twisted and scary character... what were the challenges to creating his character, and did you draw inspiration for Jack from any true crime stories? Also, have any of your friends/acquaintances read the book and started acting differently now that they know what your brain is capable of? ;)
