Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Malcolm Stanley Our oldest daughter had this story she used to tell us, over and over, about how she wanted to turn us all into butterflies so we could fly away as a butterfly family together.
I took that story and published it as an e-book, but the concept stayed with with me and inspired my current work. I started to explore what a world would be like if a little girl actually ended up accomplishing something like that, and the unintended consequences such a success might have. Needless to say, that simple story is now totally out of control.
