I really don't have a question, more a comment. I just wanted to say how much I thoroughly enjoyed "Hollow World!" Such a unique story even for a SciFi novel. Thank you for keeping us entertained through your words. I look forward to reading more of your novels. Any idea what the next one will be? Laura Africa

Hey Laura, I'm so glad you enjoyed Hollow World. I really enjoyed writing it. Like my fantasy novels, it's a throw back to "classic" sci-fi like Heinlein and Asimov. I do hope to return to Pax and Ellis in a sequel. Got a few things I want to do first in the Elan (Riyria) universe, but once I have them done I do think I'll be returning to Hollow World.
Thanks again for reading!

Hi Michael I don't know if anyone has asked this before, I have searched but can't find the answer anywhere. What happened to Pickles? Where does he go and what is his relationship with Archadius? Are we going to hear more about Nimbus' experiences? Lastly what do you feel Gilly is doing now? Do you think Royce ever goes back to visit Gilly?

I just finished "The Death of Dulgath" last night, and having now read through all the Riyria books, I am wondering how you are able to create such complex characters and stories and neatly bind them all together? It's fantastic. I know you write everything out first before publishing; is it largely this practice that allows you to create your stories the way you do?

Hi Michael. I love your books and writing style. I especially love the anti-grimdark feel of your books. So many current fantasy books just depress me. I remember reading somewhere that you write books that you would enjoy reading yourself. Given I love your writing style I was wondering what other authors you enjoy reading?
