(view spoiler)[Hi Michael I don't know if anyone has asked this before, I have searched but can't find the answer anywhere. What happened to Pickles? Where does he go and what is his relationship with Archadius? Are we going to hear more about Nimbus' experiences? Lastly what do you feel Gilly is doing now? Do you think Royce ever goes back to visit Gilly? (hide spoiler)]

Hey Sterling...Thanks for asking. Funny thing about Pickles, in an early version he did indeed died, but a few of the beta testers, and one in particular, loved him so much (and were so saddened by his death) that I brought him back. As you may know, I'm not sure how many Chronicle tales there will be, it all depends on if people want more or have had enough. That said, if there are more, I do have a story line where Royce and Hadrian bump into him again.
As for what his relationship, Pickles works for Arcadius.
Nimbus is a character who I have plans for - again if there are more books. In particular I would like to have a story with him and Yolric - whether that would have Royce and Hadrian or not - I'm not quite sure.
I think of Gilly often - and do have a story where "someone" goes to Percepliquis. I think you can guess who that someone might be, but I'm trying to keep it vague as to not spoil anything.
Thanks for asking.

Hi! While reading about Gwen and Royce at the bridge, I felt that she was truly surprised that she was the one that Royce loved most (over Hadrian). Almost as if she had misread her own fortune. Was this your intent, or did I just want that beautiful, poetic, girly-moment?
Thank you,
Morgan

I Just stumbled upon your name from my kindle app after finishing the first Novel ( "The Name of The Wind" ) I had read when I decided to pick up reading again. This was to help aprk my childs instreset in reading. Your world looks interesting. I was wondering if I should read the books in chronological or publish date order. My gut says publish date. Which would be the best order to read the series?

Hi. Perhaps you answer this in your other series...but I was wondering why Royce pushed them to go ahead and take the job from Thrace when it went against our expectations for that character? Don't get me wrong, I love that part! But his reasoning was never explained and I was wondering if there was a reason.
