Why did you decide to self-publish? Did you try original publishing first? (Is that the right word? It doesn't sound right).

Nenia Campbell I think it's called traditional publishing. :D And yes, I tried with like one or two publishers with my first book, Cloak and Dagger. But then after talking it over with a friend, I decided to forgo the middleman and self publish. There are definitely some perks to being indie, like determining your own release dates and not having to cut out pieces publishers don't agree with. I would *love* to be traditionally published one day and associated with an actual publishing house, though, if only so I will finally be able to go to book signings and get free ARCs to give out to my wonderful, amazing readers. <3 <3 <3
