J. Schlenker I'm a novice at this. Work on a novel during NaNoWriMo. That's how I started. Only the first one got a couple of badges. The second one is about art and my favorite artist, Van Gogh. I'm thinking books are like your children or paintings. You love them in different ways.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one that gets butterflies. I've watched weavers before and wow, I have no idea how a person keeps up with all that, it's impressive. Cool thing to do. I've woodworked for many years, but last year my wife and I decided to start stockpiling so we can go to a show or two next year (she does stained glass). The shows I mean are just to sell things. Jurors? I'm not brave (or good) enough!
