Glass Half Full
Glass Half Full asked Mark Lawrence:

What advice could you give to an aspiring writer like myself? Does prose come along eventually, as I practice writing or as I read, depending as well on what kinds of stories I read? How do I create a good story? How do I create a good narrator? Does cutting the excess use of adverbs and adjectives do the trick or could I do more than that? Sorry for sending so many questions. :D Cheers from the Philippines.

Mark Lawrence Hi Apollo, way more questions there than I have time to answer, and most of them are unanswerable.

The way in which people write is hugely variable and there are no simple answers even to simple questions.

Certainly practice helps. Whether enough practice will get you where you want to be ... who knows? The main thing is to enjoy the journey.
