Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Olivia Blake My most recent book is Dark Bargains, a romantic suspense. I was trying to decide what I wanted to work on after I wrapped up the Winter's Heat serial. I was leaning towards a military romance that's been floating around for a while, but while I started on it, I just wasn't feeling it.

I kept getting this mental picture of a house on a lake, and a man comes home and finds a strange woman sitting alone in his kitchen. He doesn't know anything about her, but he's drawn to her for some reason. And there's something very wrong with her.

The story fell out of that initial idea. I've never done a romantic suspense before, so I'm having a lot of fun working out subplots and twists to throw in here.
