How did you come up with the idea to write the House Of Night Series? I really LOVE that series and you are such an awesome author!!!!

P.C. Cast Thank you Kamille! In 2005 my agent, Meredith Bernstein, and I were at a writers' conference and she said she had an idea for a new series she'd like me to write set at a vampire finishing school. I'd been teaching high school for several years, so I immediately thought YA. Then I decided to make my vampyres matriarchal and have much of their Change based on biology, and the House of Night was born!
