No. We were housed in the brick isolation hospital which was down past the huts. I shared a room with another girl. I never saw a face ,just hands, and the long dress as she left. I remember saying I'm ok . I just happened to ask the next day ,who was the sister with such a long dress.it was the 60 s our uniforms were too short. To the delight of our patients! Any more sightings do you know?

C.G. Buswell Blimey, sounds like another QA Grey Lady, Netley was said to have one too. Not heard of any sightings at Catterick before, so you are blessed to have seen her Vivien. Was the old hospital also named The Duchess of Kent Military Hospital or was the new building renamed? I've seen photos of the 60s uniforms and they were rather short! Quite a contrast from the long flowing dresses of the early QAs.
