Burnt Vengeance is a short story which can also be purchased from Amazon and downloaded to a PC, laptop, mobile, tablet or Kindle.

No. We were housed in the brick isolation hospital which was down past the huts. I shared a room with another girl. I never saw a face ,just hands, and the long dress as she left. I remember saying I'm ok . I just happened to ask the next day ,who was the sister with such a long dress.it was the 60 s our uniforms were too short. To the delight of our patients! Any more sightings do you know?
C.G. Buswell Blimey, sounds like another QA Grey Lady, Netley was said to have one too. Not heard of any sightings at Catterick before, so you are blessed to have seen her Vivien. Was the old hospital also named The Duchess of Kent Military Hospital or was the new building renamed? I've seen photos of the 60s uniforms and they were rather short! Quite a contrast from the long flowing dresses of the early QAs.

This is not a question.it is a true story .I was a young QA in 1966. In Catterick n. Yorkshire. Our accommodation was not completed,so we lived for a few months in the old isolation ward I never felt afraid of her. Can you guess the rest?
C.G. Buswell Hello Vivien, lovely to hear from you. I've not heard of any ghost stories from Catterick, was this in the old hutted hospital? I'm guessing perhaps you saw a Grey Lady? Would love to hear more.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
C.G. Buswell I take my white doves into their racing box and release them at the harbour. The walk back gives me great thinking time and I love watching my doves flying home.
