Did you make up the type of plane that crashed, because I can't find a jet with that name? I was born and raised in Wichita and lived near Boeing, where my father worked. All I can find on the internet is the V-22 Osprey VTOL turboprop that Boeing built in conjunction with Bell Helicopter Co. It's OK if you just made it up, because it's a fiction work. I was just curious though. (My OCD) Loving the book so far.

I am a writer and your writing, especially Fargo, has been a big influence on me. I love how you can blend both genre and the personal in the show, which is something I try to do in my own writing. Thus, my question, which really has two parts: do you think of yourself as a genre writer, and how do you find ways to inset quiet, human moments in stories focused so much on crime, mystery, and plot?
