What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Jacqueline Winspear Very simple - you have to write. Not talk about what you are going to write (if you do that, you take away the need to write). You just have to sit there and you write. And if you are stuck, you think of all the people living in places where they risk their lives for writing because they have no freedom of expression - that should make you write. You write because you want to write and because you can. Tell your stories on the page, and don't tell anyone what you are doing unless you know you have their 100% support.
