I'm about a third of the way through the audio book...I'm not sure it's worth continuing. Tell me it gets better?

It was slow starting but I really did enjoy the last 1/3 - 1/2 of it. For those that listened to the audio - I have my speed set at 1.25 x (as a default) and it was so much better at that speed than at 1.0.(less)
