How do you get inspired to write?

Cydney Rax Inspiration comes from everywhere. It typically starts with a question: "What if?" I think of characters and the situation that they are in. And as I'm writing the book, I get inspired from everything. Listening to peoples' conversations, reading a line in a magazine, or seeing people on the street and imagining about their lives. Seeing cars that are driving around Houston, hearing a song, and I even have dreams that tell me what's coming up next in my book.
