Good morning, Meagan.
I was never much of a reader, and definitely not a writer, until I got sick once ages ago and my sister brought me over a bag of her romance novels to read.
I was instantly hooked!
I no sooner became a reader than I wanted to write. My first few books were written longhand, and the book that finally sold was written on a typewriter. After that I bought a computer, but that was back in '96 and home PCs weren't yet as popular. Took me a little while to even figure out how to use it! lol. (Yes, I'm ancient!)
Overall it took me over 5 years and 10 completed books to finally sell that first one.
Guess I really owe it all to my sis!
