I've read the Matched and its alright. Didn't really grip me though. Can anybody tell me if it gets better? Should i finish the series or is it not worth it?

I tried to get into the second one, Crossed, but seriously, it was extremely boring for me so I did not move forward. If you have a similar reaction as I did, it is not worth it.(less)
