Goodreads asked LynDee Walker:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

LynDee Walker I walk. Changing scenery and getting myself moving helps me figure out sticky plot points.

I write. Maybe it’s my journalism background (editors don’t care that your muse isn’t there, they care that they have their fifteen inches of copy by deadline. They’re picky like that.), but on days when I’m not “feeling it,” if I sit down and write, I eventually get to a place where the story is flowing. I can always revise, unless I let “writer’s block” be an excuse to not write. You can’t polish words that aren’t there.
