I loved the movie, the changes that were made were either due to length (a movie script is 70% shorter than a novel that size) or to the realities of production (the stunt dog was male!) but at every turn I felt like he tried to make a movie that was even more like the novel than the novel. That's not how it would have played out if the rights had been bought by a huge studio who spent $75 million making it - they'd have been forced to iron out the weirdness. The movie definitely did not do that.

I just recently got around to reading the JDATE series and I finished all 3 in a few days. Do you know how many books you plan in the series? If it could go on indefinitely I wouldn't be upset. Also on a sidenote, you have greatly annoyed my wife because after reading What the Hell Did I Just Read, I now constantly tell her "It's dildos all the way down, baby" whenever she asks me any kind of question.

Yo, so I was wondering how you research for the books you're writing? Does it come from already existing knowledge or do you research as you go along? Wew. Also, JDatE was seriously life changing. I don't know what it is about it but it changed my perspective on a lot of things. I use brute force to get everyone I meet (including my mum) to read it and when they do, they love it just as much (also including my mum) <3
