Do the Jaya Jones books need to be read in order?

Gigi Pandian The books are all stand-alone mysteries, so you can read them in any order for the fun of the adventure and mystery. To see the character relationships progress, though, reading them in order is best. But definitely feel free to pick up any of them, if a certain story and setting appeals to you.
