Do you have a favorite book and/or book series that you've written? And do you see more of those books in the future?

Good morning, Sarah. Thanks so much for the question.
I've loved writing the Fool's Gold books. I have one more Fool's Gold novella scheduled to come out later this year (A KISS IN THE SNOW). After that, I'm beyond excited to follow the three younger Mitchell brothers from Fool's Gold to Happily Inc. The Happily Inc series will debut next year, and I'm already having a ton of fun with this new town. Fans of Fool's Gold are going to love it, I think. It's another quirky small town. A new place to discover, but with all of the elements you love about Fool's Gold--funny, romantic, quirky but in a way that feels completely real and believable.
One thing I love about Happily Inc is the town dump. Yes, the town dump! It was inspired by a dump outside Austin Texas. They recycle and compost everything they can, but what makes it really special is that it's surrounded by a game preserve for non-predatory grazing animals. Antelopes, zebras, giraffes. This is just one of the many special things about Happily Inc. More to come!
The Mischief Bay series gives me a lot of satisfaction, too, with more serious subject matter than Fool's Gold and Happily Inc (but still plenty of humor). Mischief Bay book 3, A MILLION LITTLE THINGS, will be out early next year. I believe it's available for preorder now. For those of you who read THE GIRLS OF MISCHIEF BAY, you'll enjoy this: Pam's story will continue. :)
I also really enjoyed writing DAUGHTERS OF THE BRIDE, a standalone romance, and I hope to write one standalone book every year going forward. (That's the plan, at any rate.) I think it's nice for me and for readers to take a break from series every now and then, to have a complete reading experience in that one book. I hope you'll love reading it as much as I loved writing it. A pure pleasure!
