I was chill…moreSo interesting...the dichotomy of all the reviews. I thought Cline really captured the inner life of a particular type of adolescent girl. I was chilled by how easy it was for Evie to get caught up in the Manson-like cult. I could so relate to her and the times in which she was living. A little slow at times, but I loved it. It reminded me a bit of Theo, in The Goldfinch, when he was living in Las Vegas. Having been a wild adolescent, I adore it when writers capture just how crazy, risk taking and impulsive you really were.(less)
