Yes Michelle, I am a self-published author and this is why I am struggling the way I am. And yes, I did publish it on createspace as well as Amazon so I can do the free promotion. Michelle Sutton I think it's hard to make it in this biz if you are new and no one has ever heard of you before. I have worked for years on just building friendships which ended up becoming a fan base after I sold my first book in 2007. Unless you create something amazing and different that someone discovers and blogs about its hard to sell anything. Just my experience. Everyone has a different story.
