Hmm. I don't see the line in question in my question list but I'll take a flying leap here. Is it the one that reads: "He was the ugliest man in the bar and he had his eye on her?" If so, I can assure you that I get that one quoted back to me a LOT! It's from The Guenevere Jones books -- THE DESPERATE GAME.

Is this something you planned from the beginning, or did it just evolve? As you were writing the Arcane Society books, did you know how the stories would come together from the beginning?

Just saw the short film, Love Between The Covers. A marvelous film and wanted to thank you for expressing what is most true. A good romance novel provides us with a sense of what is in our soul, no matter the condition of life at the time. Your early Quick novels were some of my first immersion into books which provided an escape from things that were not so hot. For me, what could be any better?

I had heard that the supernatural/psychic element wouldn't be appearing in your Amanda Quick historicals anymore. Is that true? I loved that side of the Arcane Society and seeing them work within the Victorian world. There were what turned me into a regular historical romance reader.
