You are clearly a big Terry Pratchett fan. What book(s) of his would you recommend?

Well, I think it's impossible to find a bad Terry Pratchett, so really, you can begin anywhere. It might be fun to read about the books and see what topic interest you - Terry Pratchett has a knack of writing about popular culture in bizarre and fun ways. For example, there's a book about music (with rocks in it), the theatre, stories, the organizational challenges of a post office, national economy, university life, Christmas, gender equality and much more.
I think I prefer (although this changes almost daily) the book with the witches (stories, theatre, music) or with Moist (the post office and the national mint).
Here's a few of them:
Witches abroad (about stories, and the irresistable grumpy with Granny Weatherwax who travel to the distant city of Genua to make sure the servant girl doesn't marry the prince)
Going postal (Moist von Lipwig narrowly escapes his execution, he's a thief, and is given the choice between death and run the postal service. It's a tough choice).
Soul Music (the daughter of Death faces a new and addictive music that has entered Discworld called Music With Rocks In)
Hogfather (Death takes over the duties of the Hogfather. Might be nice to save this one for Christmas. It's glorious)
