How do you get inspired to write?

Jake Jeffries I like to act as a sponge and be able to pull inspiration from anything. On top of being a writer, I am also an avid reader, geek, and collector. Also, I enjoy traveling and checking out new locations for inspiration as well. Inspiration is sometimes the easy part, motivation without distraction on the other hand is difficult. For example at the time of this writing I have four tabs open. This page, my e-mail, twitter, and a kitten video.
