I like to act as a sponge and be able to pull inspiration from anything. On top of being a writer, I am also an avid reader, geek, and collector. Also, I enjoy traveling and checking out new locations for inspiration as well. Inspiration is sometimes the easy part, motivation without distraction on the other hand is difficult. For example at the time of this writing I have four tabs open. This page, my e-mail, twitter, and a kitten video.

It is actually an idea that has been maturing for going on a decade now. Originally it wasn't going to start out with a vampire character, but I got tired of seeing how vampires were being portrayed by recent pop culture. So, I decided to do my part to bring back some of the respect vampires deserve and twist the myth a little bit with creativity.
