Judy Christiana asked Susan Mallery:

Hi Susan, I read the excerpt booklet of the first 4 chapters today. First I want to say the design of the booklet is wonderful! I loved the photos of the characters of "Daughter's of the Bride". I can't wait until the release date to read the rest of the story. My question: What is the story behind "The Drunken Red-Nosed Honeybee? Thanks, Judy C.

Susan Mallery I *love* the Drunken Red-nosed Honeybee! :) This is a fictitious insect that plays a key role in the story. When I was plotting the book, I needed to come up with something relatively benign that would cause a lot of chaos on the wedding day. (You know I have to torture my characters!) My assistant helps me brainstorm, and she came up with the Red-nosed Drunken Honeybee, but I changed the words around to put them in alphabetical order so I wouldn't get mixed up. Alphabetical works for me!

I'm so glad you enjoyed the first four chapters of DAUGHTERS OF THE BRIDE! Today is release day, so I hope you'll love reading the rest of the book. :D
