I'm working on a new novel about three women, a twentieth century lawyer who's a failure with men, a nineteenth century southern belle, who's facing destitution, and a voodoo queen with her own agenda. Love, time travel, magic, and murder, but on a deeper level it's a meditation on what we've lost and what we've gained in the amazing twentieth century.
