What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Rachel Caine I absolutely love writing. Just the process of creating something new. Maybe nobody likes it but me; maybe everybody does. But when I'm writing, it's just for ME and nobody else, until I finally turn it over.

Tied for best, though, is getting to meet the amazing readers out there when I go out to shows, conferences and conventions. So humbled to be part of that community.

Hello! Would you ever consider writing a prequel novella to Ink and Bone that reveals more of Wolfe and Santi's backstory? I love the characters and their relationship and can't wait to see more of them in Ash and Quill!
