With Red Sister being a departure from the Broken Empire series, did you do much world-building? I know you have mentioned that you do not do much revising and drafting when you write, so was curious if you had the same approach regarding world-building (assuming this is not a spoiler and/or is a secondary world).

Mark Lawrence I did a lot more world building than in my previous work, but the story is still very character focused. I've never been about world-building for it's own sake.

And yes, I world build as I go. Still exploring!
