So Sorry I haven't answered this, I'm new to this!
Best thing about writing for me is how challenging it is. I come from a visual art background, so trying to take the visual narrative and translate it in to words is difficult. I need to try to write for both visual readers and word readers. It is pretty exciting when I finally get a narrative to where I want it and how it flows. But then it does go to the beta readers and editors for their input as well.
