I tried writing two books at the same time and about drove myself crazy trying to switch character POVs, time, place, etc., and I'm always in the present. How in the world you do handle switching your brain from historical to contemporary to futuristic? Please tell me you only work on one at a time. LOL

Jayne Ann Krentz Hi, Gina -- Yep, I can only work on one book at a time. I'd get dazed and disoriented if I tried to write two books at once. I don't even want to think about it. Writing is a rather chaotic process for me. I would love to be able to do a complete outline and know exactly where I'm going before I start a book but, sadly, that is just not the way my brain works.
