I'm not sure if it's addressed in your books or not, but what is it, particularly, about the sun that makes the Carpathians weak and vulnerable during daylight? I know that it does, but why?

Christine Feehan It's really more about mythology than science, so I've never really spoken to exactly what the sun does the Carpathians. They are nocturnal.
