I wish it could. I hear the most amazing stories every day at work -- and medical confidentiality prevents them from sharing them, even in a disguised form. There's always a chance the patient might recognize himself, if he stumbled upon a story, no matter how many details I changed....
But I suppose that forces me to conjure up more original work, so in that sense, shrinking heads helps....

I am trying to explain how the reading felt. I am one of those who can smell feelings, see thoughts, feel words, taste moods, hear silence. Not sure was that means but it is a banquet of sensations and when I read something if it doesn't feed me I can't enjoy it. Your short story brought me to the table and I feasted in the surprises it offered! What do you think that means?
