I know a Carpathian would not knowingly hunt and/or feed on a pregnant woman, and...I hope... not hunt and/or feed on a woman... "in cycle", but what is the usual...youngest age... a human might be hunted? Would Carpathians ever adopt human children?

Carpathians don't hunt humans. Not as a rule. And they have adopted human children to keep them safe.

I love the depth you draw from characters. I loved this in Leopard's Fury, especially. I particularly enjoyed the sense of family that developed. There are several scenes where you have quite a few characters together, yet, keep them true to how they were written. How difficult is it for you to write group scenes and keep the voices straight? Show secondaries growth while not taking from main story-line? It was great!

I read all of your series! You create several of your amazing storylines around different types of abuse, which is sometimes difficult to read but so necessary to understand not only the devastating effects on the victim but also to bring awareness. I've noticed several reviews lately on your Torpedo Ink series that believe you've gone too far. What would you say to your detractors?
