Is this just a ripped-off funnier version of the movie Lady Jane? Based upon the blurb it sounds EXACTLY like it. Perhaps I'm showing my age because it's an older, and likely slightly obscure movie, but I happened to adore this film decades ago.

I also enjoyed the film and have long been interested in the story of the nine day queen. I am a little more than half way through it. I don't want it to end. It has multiple pov's, so if that's not your thing, you probably won't like it, but it's all third person omniscient, so you could give it a shot. (less)
