Hear the Wind Sing, and Pinball 1973 were short and well done, I preferred Hear the Wind Sing, his first novel. They aren't too long and read quickly so it's worth it reading before the others. It's harder to find Wind and Pinball in book form, but you can easily get them on e-reader versions(less)
