When I discov…moreI started with The Red Sea, got partway in and figured out that I was reading about characters who had a lot of past that I didn't know. When I discovered there was a whole other series, I stopped and listened to the Cycle of Arawn. I'm glad that I did, though I'll say that Arawn starts off really rough. I enjoyed the series overall, but the characterization and prose in the first book or two was a real struggle for me. I stuck with it though, and I think the Cycle of Galand is excellent.(less)
