Dear Mr Riddle, I self published 3 novels and this is the time for me to start with a massive marketing campaign. I spent many hours in the covers books planning. In your experience, how much is important a good cover, view of the fact that the books will be shown on big online markets, like amazon, with many others? How much this was important for your books success? Thanks for your time. Marco from Italy.

Hi Marco,
Congratulations on completing three novels. That in itself is a huge accomplishment.
I think a professional looking cover is very important in attracting readers since there are so many books on the market. If a reader is looking for a new book on Amazon for example and don't have a specific author or title in mind, they are probably reviewing lists of novels and you definitely want to stand out in the sea of novels. I think investing in your covers is a wise choice. I wouldn't spend thousands on the covers but make a sound investment in order to allow your novels to stick out in the crowd.
I also think having an editor is another key component. Readers will certainly thank you for it. Having a good description on whatever platform you use will also help readers to pull the trigger on your book if you've already enticed them with your cover.
Wishing you the best.
Take care,
Gerry

Hi Gerry, I wanted to reach out and express how much I have enjoyed the Long Winter series. Recently, I delved into Quantum Radio and found it to be a captivating read. This led me to explore the fascinating topic of Quantum Entanglement. Out of curiosity, I'm intrigued to know: What book have you found most enjoyable to write? Additionally, I'm curious about your process for gaining inspiration for your books.

I just announced to the WTime Travel group (https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/4805-time-travel) that our book club book would be reading this in September. I thought that thousands of reviews couldn't be wrong. But then someone tried to download it and noticed that it's not available until late October. Are you putting out a new and improved edition or is this a mistake on Amazon?
